I Jian Lin, Founder – President and Creative Director
Mr. I Jian Lin founded BrandIntent in 1991 to provide specialized brand and design services to companies searching for a sophisticated partner to help them secure a leadership position in highly competitive markets. He is responsible for overseeing the conceptual and creative development of BrandIntent’s brand engagements as well as providing the strategic direction for the firm. He is the impetus behind the firm’s advancements in sensory-driven experience branding, our philosophy of premium branding, and an early advocate of emotionally activated brands. Prior to founding BrandIntent, Mr. Lin served as the Executive Vice President/Design Director of Doyle Advertising. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Corporate Design Group at Digital Equipment Corporation.

In addition to his professional experience, I Jian is fluent in three languages and has traveled extensively throughout the world. His knowledge and understanding of various cultures have given him tremendous insight into the global requirements needed to effectively launch international corporate communications programs.


Bruce Rutter – Vice President, Brand Strategy
Mr. Bruce Rutter works on strategic branding issues and positioning for BrandIntent’s major accounts. His specialty lies in developing a deep understanding of customer behavior and marketplace dynamics through multi-dimensional market research programs. Previously, Mr. Rutter was VP/Director of Long Range Strategic Planning at Hill Holliday Connors Cosmopulos. He was responsible for creating the positioning strategies for all the company’s major accounts as well as working on pitches for new business projects. He also served as VP/Marketing Director at Bronner Slosberg Humphrey.

Brian Flood – Creative Director/Copywriter
Mr. Brian Flood has developed concepts and written copy for a broad range of consumer, business and trade communications, including print and broadcast advertising, direct mail, e-mail, literature, scripts and websites. His work spans technology, apparel, financial services and healthcare leaders. Mr. Flood is recognized for his ability to develop executions that communicate our client’s distinctive advantage in the most compelling, customer-oriented voice to attract, inspire and motivate. Mr. Flood has received more than 200 awards throughout his long and distinguished career.

Mr. Chris Corriveau’s love for and extensive knowledge of web development, content management and database-driven solutions are the technical backbone of our online capabilities. Additionally, his experience in extranets, intranets and a wide array of customized web solutions provides the quintessential “left-brain” technical savvy behind dynamic web solutions that deliver the ROI and impact demanded by today’s clients.

Previously, Mr. Corriveau worked for such leading companies as Cisco Systems, GetMedia Inc. and OpenGrid in California.

terry mcgrath – vice president, media planning
Terry McGrath leads all aspects of media research, planning and purchasing for BrandIntent clients. She is recognized as one of the top media strategists in the region and brings a level of analytical rigor to every assignment that consistently exceeds client expectations. She has over twenty-five years of experience across many different business categories. Ms. McGrath also served as President and Executive Vice President at PGR Media, where she grew billings from $3MM to $80MM, and previously worked at Hill Holliday in Boston and at Young & Rubicam in New York. Her vast client experience and training in the “art and science” of media planning allow her to deliver unparalleled, measurable results.

For more than fifteen years Melanie Tringali has worked in marketing communications in a number of industries, including retail, information technology, financial and telecommunications. Ms. Tringali has a proven track record in a broad range of marketing communications from strategy development to planning and implementation. Her expertise includes corporate and product marketing, branding, research and analysis, lead generation, marketing collateral, website development and event planning. Prior to joining the BrandIntent team, she was the Sr. Marketing Manager at Lightbridge and held both corporate and product marketing positions at American Student Assistance, KeyCorp and Sallie Mae.
